Birle\u015fmi\u015f Milletler Genel Kurulu, ABD\u2019nin New York kentinde yap\u0131ld\u0131. Kurulda turizm ile turizmin s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclebilir kalk\u0131nma  ve dayan\u0131kl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n geli\u015ftirilmesindeki kritik rol\u00fcne odaklanan ikinci tematik etkinlik ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirdi.<\/p>\n\n\n

S\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclebilirlik Haftas\u0131 \u00e7er\u00e7evesinde BM Genel Merkezinde ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilen etkinlik, \u00fcye devletler, g\u00f6zlemciler, sivil toplum \u00f6rg\u00fctlerinin kat\u0131l\u0131m\u0131yla BM d\u00fczenlendi. Etkinli\u011fe kat\u0131lanlar, turizm sekt\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcn toplumlar, ekonomiler i\u00e7in artan \u00f6neminin beraberinde ekstra sorumluluk getirdi\u011fini dikkat \u00e7ekti, kapsay\u0131c\u0131 ve s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclebilir kalk\u0131nma i\u00e7in turizmin d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr\u00fcc\u00fc g\u00fcc\u00fcnden yararlanma konusunda artan kolektif kararl\u0131l\u0131\u011fa vurgu yapt\u0131.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Genel Kurul’da konu\u015fan BM Turizm Genel Sekreteri Zurab Pololikashvili, \u201cTurizmin can damar\u0131n\u0131n tekrar kesilmesine izin veremeyiz. Turizmde dayan\u0131kl\u0131l\u0131k sadece bir planlama ya da krizlere tepki verme meselesi de\u011fildir. Ayn\u0131 zamanda bu krizlerin alt\u0131nda yatan fakt\u00f6rleri proaktif olarak ele almakla da ilgilidir. S\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclebilir olmayan t\u00fcketim biyolojik \u00e7e\u015fitlilik kayb\u0131na, iklim de\u011fi\u015fikli\u011fine ve salg\u0131n hastal\u0131klar\u0131n ortaya \u00e7\u0131kmas\u0131na neden oluyor. D\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr\u00fcc\u00fc de\u011fi\u015fimi h\u0131zland\u0131racak politikalar benimsememiz hayati \u00f6nem ta\u015f\u0131maktad\u0131r” dedi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Genel Kurul Ba\u015fkan\u0131 Dennis Francis ise s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclebilir k\u00fcresel turizm sekt\u00f6r\u00fcne ihtiya\u00e7 oldu\u011funu belirterek: \u201cYerel olarak \u00fcretilen \u00fcr\u00fcn ve hizmetlere olan talebi yerel topluluklara da do\u011frudan ve olumlu fayda sa\u011flayacak \u015fekilde art\u0131yor. Turizm derin yerel de\u011fer zincirlerine sahip bir sekt\u00f6r. Sekt\u00f6r ayn\u0131 zamanda biyolojik \u00e7e\u015fitlili\u011fin korunmas\u0131, miras\u0131n korunmas\u0131 ve iklim dostu ge\u00e7im kaynaklar\u0131 i\u00e7in olumlu bir g\u00fc\u00e7 olarak hizmet ediyor\u201d diye konu\u015ftu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BM Genel Kurulu, 2027 y\u0131l\u0131n\u0131 Uluslararas\u0131 S\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclebilir ve Dayan\u0131kl\u0131 Turizm Y\u0131l\u0131 olarak ilan eden bir karar\u0131 kabul etti. Karar, BM Turizm’i temal\u0131 y\u0131l\u0131n uygulanmas\u0131 i\u00e7in h\u00fck\u00fcmetler, BM kurulu\u015flar\u0131 ve uluslararas\u0131 \u00f6rg\u00fctlerle birlikte \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaya davet ediyor. Genel Kurul da kapan\u0131\u015f konu\u015fmalar\u0131nda ise  turizm sekt\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcn kar\u015f\u0131 kar\u015f\u0131ya oldu\u011fu karma\u015f\u0131k zorluklar\u0131n ele al\u0131nmas\u0131nda i\u015fbirli\u011fi ve ortakl\u0131\u011f\u0131n \u00f6nemini yineledi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
